I started to write late yesterday evening and had only 500 words when I was called to bed. I had to get back up in order to do a decent word count. I finished at 1.2k around a quarter to one.
Today, I’m tired, but happy to have produced an extra 700 words after midnight. Well, I’m definitely too old for this shit, but still nice to know I can type without too much typos at this hour.
The writing of the day was fun to write (re-reading those posts, it’s amazing how many times I’ve said that). What’s funny is that I have Listeria’s voice so completely in my head. So should you if you notice the number of times she says “little one”… Not exactly the same characters, but they have a lot in common.
I’m not sure if I will push this chapter further, I’m at 3k at this time, but I feel like I have more things to say between the two sisters.
Talking on the “characters taking the lead in the story” lead, this just happened to me yesterday as I helplessly watched Listeria talk about her sister being pursued by the police and wrongly accused. I never saw that one coming! I think it integrates well with the rest, but that was quite surprising!

Come to think of it, their names sound even alike. I can assure you that when I outlined Listeria, I never thought about the other one. It’s only when I started to write her lines that the voice popped into my head.
Rest assured that the two characters are nothing alike. Lwaxana is a good person and Listeria definitely isn’t. Besides, I’ll never cast Lwaxana in a bad role as we share one sad thing in common – I’d never do that to her!
