I started writing over fifteen years ago after listening to all the Writing Excuses podcasts. This short and informative podcast is presented by Brandon Sanderson, Dan Wells, Mary-Robinette Kowal, and Howard Tayler. It airs once a week and is specifically aimed at people wanting to become published writers. They convinced me that I really could do it and lay the stories I have in my head on paper.

I now have six full novels and several short stories under my belt. Book number seven is in the works. I’m shopping my novels to an online writing group ( Reading Excuses ). I’m currently submitting my earlier works to UK agents and publishers.

For now, I’m writing fantasy (with a smidge of mystery or SF some times). I plan to write some hard SF, once I get enough time to do all the research my background in Physics screams for me to do.

I’m a PhD in surface science physics, currently working as a software architect for a large IT company.
