Chapter 16 is done, to a whopping 48.5k. I should produce my 50k tuesday at worst.
The chapter isn’t funny at all. It’s kind of dramatic even with Onmk pushing Ciera into unknown territories. Spooky chapter end.
Another discovery writing case. I had no idea how things would turn out. I thought I was going to do some witty, funny Onmk. Instead, I’ve got an emotionally charged chapter that I think will move the story forward.
Next chapter (17 – how time passes!) will be Listeria’s first. I think it’s time to show the reader what kind of person she really is. I hope to have fun writing that, because I like writing about bad people doing bad things. Listeria is a really interesting character – in my head at least – and I’m excited to have the reader looking into her head.
I hope I won’t mary sue my mistrust of politicians when I write about her. Well, that’s probably going to happen anyway.
