It’s WritingExcuses Day!
Today’s topic was “unreliable narrators”. Very interesting as this was a point I struggled with yesterday : my viewpoint character knew more than I wanted the reader to know. How do I tell the story from his point of view without revealing too much or running the risk of loosing his credibility when the reader discovers the sad truth?
I would argue with the three guys that every narrator is biased and then inherently unreliable. My problem here is with dishonest characters.
I’ll listen to the podcast once more tonight, and let you know if they said something I missed this morning!
