Ok, just finished the first draft of the prologue. As expected, a little under 2500 words, and that’s counting some extensions on the already written parts, including some description and dialogue. I think that the third part is better than the two previous ones, that’s nice. I now have two options. 1 – to let the prologue as it is now and come back to it during the edit. 2 – Edit that part now.
Part of me thinks that editing now is a waste of time as I will be much better at writing in a few months.
Another part of me hates to have to leave something in that state.
Maybe, I’ll do a little bit of both. A light rewrite now and the big one at the end.
Good point : The prologue is very good on “In late, out early”!
