I’ve said before : this has been a difficult week for me – writing wise.

I had to cope with two conflicting facts :

  • work has been stressful this week – no energy left to write
  • the current chapter is difficult – nothing to write about

As a result, this is I think my least productive week.

My therapy here was to get some rest, read some things and once I’m fresh again, get on with it.

So, after a friday and saturday without writing, I sat down this afternoon (BIC HOC) and wrote.

The beginning was slow. I mostly rewrote the meager chapter start I had done during the week and got on and on. At some point, I had to read back things I had written a few chapters back, but that didn’t slow me much.

At the end of the day (or session), I have completed my chapter, satisfactorily, and am ready to go on to the next.

As it turns out, the next should be interesting, so I think I have enough to keep on writing for the next week. I then will have to find a way to introduce the climax scene so it’s not coming out of the blue.
