Just a little post, if I’m ever capable of doing a short post, to tell you that the first draft of the Blizzard Writing Contest short story is done.

I pitched that short story a few days ago to two friends that are familiar with the Warcraft universe. They felt that the idea was very much in line with the Blizzard spirit, and would go nicely with that franchise.

I printed the thing out and gave it to alpha reader to read tomorrow morning : this is 24 pages long, I should have some feedback before I even wake up.

The story is still a little too long – about 25 words over the limit.

I hope to be able to start the story edit tomorrow, and have something packed by the end of next week.

That should give me two full weeks to work on the cover letter : this should be enough, I hope 🙂
