I’ll try to blog a little less about NaNoWriMo now that I’m well under way, since the blog is a little redundant with Twitter, and I’m told I give spoilers about the book when I blog about it.
Sunday went well, with over 5k written, during most of the afternoon. I’m back on track to end act 1, so I’m happy.
Monday (Day #7) was a little funny, because I had my monthly writing workshop.
Since that workshop is in french, I was a little worried that writing two languages the same day would throw me off. It certainly made things difficult on the french part : I had trouble getting the words out, but after some time, things started to flow as usual.
Then, I got back home, feeling in a very good mood, and started to write my nano. Instead of the usual 3k, I decided I couldn’t go to sleep without breaking the 30k barrier, so I pushed a little and ended at 30 001, on a scene end – funny how things turn out sometimes.
I’m still on track for what I’m calling now my double-nano : 100k in one month. In fact, I even have a lofty 3 000 words advance on my schedule. Life can be sweet.
Tune in tomorrow for act 1 end – I hope.
