Just a quick post to say that my act 2 is done!

Yeah me!

The act is roughly 50k long (I know, I’m not supposed to talk about word counts here!), so that’s a nice counterweight to the act 1’s 35k. I expect act 3 to be slightly longer than act 1, that should put me around 120/130k overall, so about 110k after edit. As my main objective was a novel 100k done in under a year, that should play just fine.

This last chapter, I got to use some ability I invented while discovery writing somewhere in act 2. It amazes me that I was able to use that and that indeed this ability has just allowed me to get out of a nasty writing problem.

Sometimes, discovery writing rocks!

On to act 3 then, some more setting to be started right tomorrow!
