- NaNoWriMo starts in 7 days. A month to write 50 000 words might seem like it's easy, but sustaining 1700 words per day is actually a lot #
- (cont) especially considering I have a con to go to that month #
- The thing is, with my new novel lined up, I'm in a perfect situation to do it this year. Decisions, decisions… #
- It would also mean I have only 7 days left to complete the outline of that new novel. #
- Joined NaNoWriMo : I'm committed now. Funny thing : I introduced myself to the forums. The post right before mine was from Aliette De Bodard #
- For those who don't know her, she's a Hugo-nominated, Writers of the Future winner who happens to be French, but writing in english! #
- Knowing that people in my position can succeed like she did is a big boost for morale. #
- I actually reduced my critiquing backlog from 15 pieces to 2. Yes, writing group, I read the last two, expect my reviews shortly! #
- The thing is, with me participating in NaNoWriMo and unable to critique, I expect the same backlog to go up as soon as next week. #
